WHERE ARE WE?

It's HOT where we are? How about you?

June Recap: Eric's birthday trip to the homeland of 37% of his DNA was a big success! We rode e-bikes about 300 km over 6 days in Puglia, Italy. What an fantastic way to unwind! It was beautiful, and we ate great food, exercised, saw amazing towns and history, tasted and bought amazing wines, and completely let go of work and stress. I also finished working through the editing process with my publishing company on Delaney Pace #6, Her Cold Heart.

Whether the Delaney Pace series continues after #6 is entirely up to you... the continuation will be based upon sales of #6. I really love her and hope you guys do, too.

In the meantime, I am not writing a new Delaney book, because we are all waiting to see...

Right now in July: A catamaran trip out of Agana, Croatia with our oldest daughter and her (new!) husband, oh my! I can't wait to share it with you. I hope to get the first draft of RED GRADE finished, too. I've been a bit sidetracked because I lost my ads manager and have had to take that very time consuming job over.

Previewing August: A catamaran trip through the British Virgin Islands with my parents and one of my best friends of all time and her husband. This friendship dates all the way back to high school. Why all the catamaran trips? We bought one! It's named Annalise — yes, like in my Katie Connell books —and is available to rent through the Moorings in the British Virgin Islands (ask for the Annalise, owned by the Hutchins). For us, it's like a time share, as we  can use catamarans all over the world in trade for ours. This gets my Virgin Islands husband back on the water and island hopping, which he has yearned to do for years. And, hopefully, it will be a decent investment.

From the BVIs we head straight to WYOMING!!!! We'll have 3 weeks at home with visits from kids and grandkids and time to see our horses. At the end of August, we fly to Amarillo for my 40-year high school reunion. Then we return to France, where we'll remain through December.

Want more about our travels? I encourage you to browse my Facebook (http://facebook.com/pamela.fagan.hutchins.author) or Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/pamela_fagan_hutchins/) pages for daily photos, stories, videos, and more. They're hashtagged #ourfrenchyear

That's all I've got. My summer is flying by! How is your summer going?

    Blessings!

    Pamela

🔥 Her Burning Lies – the Newest Delaney Pace Thriller is Now! 🔥

As wildfire tears through Kearny County, leaving ash and devastation in its wake, an even more chilling discovery rises from the ruins. In the smoldering wreckage of an abandoned farmhouse, fire crews uncover the body of a young woman—stabbed through the chest, a silver sword pinning her to the scorched earth.

Detective Delaney Pace and Sheriff Leo Palmer are first on the scene. But this case turns personal fast: the victim isn't just another name in a file. Leo had recently matched with her on a dating app. His voice trembles as he identifies her—what began as a hopeful connection has ended in horror.

When a second victim—another young mother—is found at a remote ranch, murdered the same way, Delaney is sure of it: someone is targeting women searching for love. And the killer is just getting started.

Then comes the worst news of all. Delaney’s dear friend Clara Eckhardt is missing—last seen driving toward the blaze. With evacuation orders in effect and chaos all around, Delaney defies protocol and rushes into the fire zone. But as bullets fly and danger closes in, she realizes the killer is waiting for her.

Will Delaney sacrifice everything to save her friend—or become the next victim in a killer’s twisted game?

Fans of Lisa Regan, Mary Stone, and Robert Dugoni won’t be able to put down this pulse-pounding, emotional rollercoaster from USA Today bestselling author Pamela Fagan Hutchins.

Are you a Kindle reader? My ebooks are back in Kindle Unlimited!

After eighteen months of "wide distribution" of my indie ebooks, they are back in Kindle Unlimited, including the new ones published in the last year (Walker Prairie and Skin and Bones). What is KU? It's like Netflix for ebooks. Read all the included ebooks you want for a monthly subscription price.

Why did I put my books back in KU? Because my publisher has my Delaney Pace books in it, and it didn't make sense anymore to have a big series in KU and the rest of my books outside it.

You can find my KU ebooks HERE

    Binge your heart out!

Have you read Patrick Flint #8 yet? I'm starting to brainstorm #9....

    YELLOWSTONE meets INTO THIN AIR

Patrick Flint is about to make the most harrowing climb of his life.

When the body of Patrick's beautiful young climbing partner floats up dead in the creek behind the Flint home, rumors about the two of them explode, thrusting Susanne into the role of the woman scorned and the crosshairs of the police.

If he fails to summit, he may lose his life. And his wife.

The Flints' teenage kids get sucked into the turmoil, too, with Perry making decisions that could cost him his future, and Trish becoming entangled with two local thugs, just as a past love resurfaces in her life.

It's a race against time, a killer or killers unknown, and the mountain itself.

With their freedom at stake and a killer on their heels, Patrick and Susanne must learn to trust again, revisit old memories, and delve into secrets, all to unearth a treasure the likes of which tiny Buffalo, Wyoming has never known.

“Best books I’ve read in a long time!”

    Excerpt:

"Patrick rolled to his back, cradling his hand. The grade of the slope surprised him, and his roll extended to two, then three rotations. At that point, unfortunately, the ground dropped away to the creek, and his roll turned into a free fall. The sensation of air and gravity ended with a thump on the back of his head. The ringing of bells. Splashing. Wetness. Cold, over his body. On his face.

    He was in Clear Creek.

Patrick spewed water from his mouth and rose to his elbows. He wasn’t sure what hurt worst. Hand. Head. His skin everywhere. He was aware of sounds like voices shouting as if they were outside a glass dome, with him on the inside. He’d figure them out in a second. But before he could do anything to remedy his current situation, something bumped into his leg.

    It bumped him again.

    And then a third time.

Moving slowly, he used his uninjured hand to support his ringing head and lifted it higher to see what was thumping him. Nothing that he could see. Not above the water anyway, which was only six inches deep. He strained, lifting further, and then he saw it. It was a log, or something like a log, floating but not floating. Half in, half out of the water. Long and narrow. With moss billowing around one end. Stubby branches halfway down its length.

That’s not moss, and that's not a log.

Crunched hand bones forgotten, Patrick scrambled to his knees for a closer look at the lifeless young woman in their backyard creek."

    4.6-star series rating.
