Every July, Smashwords celebrates summer in the Northern Hemisphere and winter in the Southern Hemisphere by placing over 100,000 ebooks on sale. This is a global, month-long indie culture joy fest, connecting indie authors with voracious readers who love indie books!
To participate, you can bulk enroll all your titles now through June 27th and assign discount levels of 25%-off, 50%-off, 75%-off, or even FREE. This is a Smashwords-only sale, so the discounts you set for the sale are for the Smashwords store only and will not impact your retail prices at other stores. You also don’t have to worry about other retailers price matching your on-sale books. The discounts at Smashwords are applied via coupon codes, and only apply to the Smashwords Store. Note that preorder books are not eligible for the sale and will not be sent to Smashwords.
