Happy November Ruthless Readers!

I hope you are all staying warm and toasty as the weather begins to get chilly, or downright cold in some places!  I'm still working away on gambits & Kismet, but if you are following me on social media you will have seen i've made a bit of s shift with the story! As time has gone on, I've come to realize the relationship between our dragon prince, Oryn and his fence, Anika is going to be a slow burn. which is difficult for a 15k novelette! With that in mind I've decided to make a small prequel to the story that will be included in the book when it's published later! I'm already about half way through it, and I adore it! There is a good deal of world building and lore, but I'm happy with the balance I've created between story and lore!

what you might not have seen on my socials, is the name of this prequel!!! I've decided on Saprophytes and Apparitions. Now before you ask, a saprophyte is a mushroom! you can't expect a dragon, especially one so well red as Oryn to simply call something by its name! If you haven't guessed, that means our dragon prince is going to have a very fun ... trip while on his raiding time! he might even see some very interesting things!

In other news, I'm sure many of you have seen that Kindle Vella is being closed, so my plans for a resurgence of my therians (now Lunarians) will be a little slower than anticipated, but I do still plan to work through the series! I have a few big life changes coming my way, and while I'm adjusting  to them and finding my feet, I'll be reworking that world since it's less creating and more polishing!

In Khaos news, The three published books will be available in paperback soon! i swear I will get that done for you Ruthless Readers!

Everyone needs a little Khaos in their lives…

There’s one thing Eris knows better than anyone, god or mortal—and that’s chaos. Which is why as the goddess of discord herself, opening a temple that showcases monstrous feats of battle and spectacles of sex and blood is the perfect path to igniting worship again.

WIP Excerpt

“The wood wouldn’t be what it is without your attention. We both know that. My respect is granted for that reason, Oryn. Your constant consideration of my home and its needs is appreciated.” Islywn’s eyes leave me to survey the clearing in front of his lair. Once satisfied he’s safe, he returns his attention to me. “Maybe one day you will stop assuming the esteem I grant you is for your position instead of your deeds.” One of his eyes closes and a warm rumbling chuckle rises between us.

“You act as if I’m being selfless.” I clap back at him, my taloned hand rising to my chest. “If you ask me, I would say you grant me a reprieve from reality, temporary as it is.” Islwyn nods his head at me, his horns only barely missing the tree branches above him. They had grown since my last visit, proof he cared little for leaving his lair now that he was alone.

“Then I am happy that our business is mutually beneficial,” He replies, and once more, scans the clearing, his eyes penetrating the flowering branches and shrubbery surrounding us. “Shall we walk?” He questions and I nod to him, taking hold of my power and forcing my body to diminish in size. Beside me, Islwyn does the same, and only now does he exit his lair completely. Iridescent green markings cover his thick hide, and they shimmer as he passes under a beam of sunlight. I had always appreciated how beautiful he was, but some of his shine had dulled.
