Like many of our library distribution channels, Odilo works with both the Cost Per Checkout (CPC) and One Copy, One User (OCOU) payment structures. This means that libraries have more flexibility in how they purchase copies of your books, allowing them to meet patron demand without committing to higher overhead. Basically, they can purchase a copy of your book "on-demand," as a reader requests it, without the risk of having to buy it in advance. And if you want to offer your books to Odilo for free, you have that option too. It’s the sort of “everyone wins” scenario we love!
NOTE:Odilo requires both OCOU and CPC payment models. Authors who do not have CPC enabled on their accounts will have to turn this option on before they can opt into Odilo.
The next time you log into your Draft2Digital account, you’ll be prompted to add all of your books to Odilo. If you’re not ready to do so, no worries! You can add them at any time from the Ebook Details tab for your book.
